Hi, I'm Alexandra.
I'm a therapist, and Alethera is the practice I've quietly been building for years — long before it had a name.
I've worked with people through grief, anxiety, beautiful messiness, big transitions, and the long stretches in between when nothing in particular is wrong, but something doesn't quite feel like home.
"I don't believe people are problems to be solved. I believe they're stories that deserve careful listening."
The name Alethera comes from the Greek aletheia — the quiet unconcealing of what's true. It's the moment something you've been carrying becomes a little easier to see.
My work is collaborative and respectful. We don't have to start with anything in particular. We don't have to finish on a schedule. You don't have to feel better right away — and you certainly don't have to perform feeling better for me.
What I offer is presence. Steady, patient, deeply human attention — with no agenda except yours.

Healing isn't a deadline. Alethera is built to honor the natural rhythm of how people actually open up — which is rarely on schedule.
Online, but never distant
Online sessions can feel just as warm and connected as in-person ones, when the space is held intentionally. That's what I aim for, every time.
Privacy as a foundation
What we discuss stays between us. Confidentiality isn't a policy here — it's the soil everything else grows from.
